Sue, wide-boy Boycie’s wife Marlene in the show, lost hundreds of pounds when targeted twice.
Sue Holderness was targeted on two occasions by fraudsters who hacked into her computer
She is now backing a campaign giving advice on financial fraud.
Sue, 73, told ITV’s Loose Women her computer was hacked by crooks who got her to ring up and pay for online security.
She said: “They target us because we’re nervous of the internet and I suppose because we’ve got pensions and savings.”
She said her experience was “terribly alarming” but the second time she realised and called her bank who pointed her to Action Fraud.
Sue said: “If you think you’ve been scammed, don’t be embarrassed.
“They’re very sophisticated criminals. You’re not being stupid. They’re just terribly clever.”
