ONLY Fools and Horses star David Jason has made a rare appearance alongside his family on the red carpet of Cirque Du Soleil.
The actor posed with his wife Gill Hinchcliffe and their daughter Sophie Mae, 20, who brought a friend along for the celebrity-packed preview event.
David, 81, beamed for the camera as he was photographed attending the opening night of LUZIA at the Royal Albert Hall in London on Thursday evening.
He cosied up to wife Gill, 62, as his daughter placed a loving arm around the star, who is best known for his character Derek ‘Del Boy’ Trotter in the BBC sitcom.
The comedian looked smart in a pair of orange trousers, which he paired with a check shirt, black jumper and a black coat to keep warm.
David completed his look with a blue pocket square and a flat cap on his head, making a nod to the signature look of his much-loved character.
Meanwhile, wife Gill dazzled in a black and white sequined dress, as Sophie wore smart black trousers, a pink frilly blouse and studded nude high heels.
The 20-year-old revealed her multi-coloured dyed hair on the red carpet, which is separated into bright pink and dull lilac sections, as well as a glam make-up look.
David gave an update on his career while attending the LUZIA event, insisting he was still busy screenwriting and scouting ideas for TV bosses.
He told the MailOnline: “‘I’ve been very busy in writing and creating documentaries, just trying to get the channels interested.”
“I’m more on the creative side, still waiting for Tom Cruise to employ me in Mission Impossible,” the star went on to joke.
A number of celebrities took to the red carpet on Thursday night as they attended the opening night of the new Cirque Du Soleil show.
Among them was EastEnders’ legend Danny Dyer’s daughter Danni, who made her red carpet debut with new beau Jarrod Bowen.
The Love Island star, 25, looked loved up as she grinned and cuddled up to the West Ham star – while taking the next step in their romance.
Dani and Jarrod went Instagram official at the beginning of December, weeks after being spotted enjoying a weekend in London.
They were joined on the red carpet by another Love Island star – Amy Hart, who cosied up to her boyfriend Sam Rason.
Eamonn Holmes enjoyed a rare night out alongside his GBNews co-host Isabel Webster as they posed together for photographs.
He took to the red carpet with a walking stick while Isabel braved the cold in a one shouldered dress.
Strictly pro Karen Hauer turned heads with a new hairstyle, and newly engaged Becky Hill kept her ring hand covered.
