FUMING Our House viewers have called out a major geography blunder in the latest instalment of the ITV drama.
The new series follows the story of estranged couple Fi and Bram Lawson, who still own their family home together.
When Fi – played by Downton Abbey actress Tuppence Middleton – arrives home to find her house has been taken over by strangers and all her belongings are gone, she thinks it’s one big misunderstanding.
But unable to get hold of Martin Compston’s Bram, she soon suspects her ex is involved.
Her suspicions appear to be confirmed in episode three last night when she confronts the solicitor behind the sale – who admits the cash has already been transferred.
But fans were distracted by a copy of Bram’s passport sitting in the lawyer’s office – which stated he was born in Greenock, ENGLAND.
One fumed: “Greenock, England aye? Blooper.”
A second wrote: “Brilliant drama. Just please tell whoever mocked up Bram’s passport that Greenock isn’t in England.”
And a third questioned: “Since when was Greenock in England?”
Others even messaged Compston over the geography gaffe involving his Inverclyde hometown.
One said: “Martin Compston since when was Greenock in England? According to your passport in Our House.”
Meanwhile another wrote: “Martin Compston your passport on Our House says Greenock, England.”
Compston’s character is being blackmailed to sell his house after a car crash left an eight-year-old girl in a coma.
His blackmailers have video footage of driver Bram at the scene and are threatening to go to the police if he does not go through with the sale behind Fi’s back.
ITV has been contacted for comment.
Our House continues tonight at 9pm on ITV
