OUR Yorkshire Farm star Amanda Owen has set the record straight after fans questioned why her husband Clive was missing from the family’s festive pictures.
The shepherdess, 47, posted a number of snaps as she celebrated Christmas alongside her nine children at Ravenseat Farm – but her 67-year-old husband didn’t feature in any of them.
Spotting his absence, a concerned follower asked her: “Can we have a photo with Clive on please?”
She explained: “Not if he doesn’t wish to be on social media.”
Amanda has previously said that Clive “hates” social media so rarely appears in the family pics.
She said: “He hates social media & the online news stuff and doesn’t want to be on it. That’s his choice.”
Over the period Amanda shared numerous pictures of the children on the farm as they were delighted to have a white Christmas.
On Christmas Day she revealed that her youngest child, four, had swallowed a biro – explaining that she was left “spitting ink”.
Amanda and Clive share couple share children Raven, 20, Reuben, 18, Miles, 15, Edith, 12, Violet, 10, Sidney, nine, Annas, seven, Clemmy, six, and Nancy, four.
Posting an update to fans on she opened up about the mishaps that had taken place at 10am.
She wrote on Twitter: “The usual. Skidsteer won’t start
Reubs dismantling carburettor in kitchen
.
“Sid abandoned on loft as he knocked ladder away with straw bale
Clem, Annas & Tony
are sharing mineral lick (for Tony) in living room & Nancy’s swallowed a biro
.”
She added: “*She’s fine; just spitting ink*
.”
The family are well known for the popular reality farming show Our Yorkshire Farm, which began in 2018.
It shows them taking on the often gruelling tasks involved in running Ravenseat Farm, in North Yorkshire.
