Ozark viewers are furious that a ‘huge spoiler’ has been dropped in the final season trailer

Ruth Langmore is hell-bent on revenge after her cousin Wyatt was murdered

Ruth Langmore – who is played by Julia Garner – is seen plotting her revenge in the latest trailer and more deaths may be on the cards.

In truly dramatic scenes, Darlene Snell and Ruth’s cousin Wyatt Langmore were killed off in the first part of the fourth season, which left fans horrified.

The double murders in the seventh episode shocked viewers, with the lovers shot dead by Javi Elizonndro soon after tying the knot as he repeatedly warned them not to farm drugs.

The new trailer Ozark’s last episodes appears to confirm Javier ‘Javi’ Elizondro (Alfonso Herrera) will be killed off when the series returns for the next part.

In the clip, Ruth is hell-bent on getting revenge on Wendy and Martyn Byrde and the Navarro cartel after the murder of her cousin Wyatt.

Jonah informed her that Javi killed her cousin, forcing Ruth to avenge the death of Wyatt and Darlene.

The trailer hints that she’s also planning to take revenge on the Byrdes for their part in her cousin’s death.

However, fans were shocked that the trailer had dropped this mega spoiler.

One wrote: “Ozark fans, do not watch the trailer for part two of the new season!!

“There is a blatant and absolutely ridiculous spoiler in it. FFS!”

Another posted: “OK…I know they didn’t just put a big a** spoiler in this new Ozark trailer, right?

“This BETTER be a dream sequence or some s**t, Netflix. If you haven’t watched the trailer… don’t.”

Other fans speculated that the scenes in the trailer could be a red-herring like season three.

One fan suggested: “Season three trailer. Marty getting shot by Wendy in the middle of a road turned out to be a dream sequence.”

A second echoed: “Yeah I suspect that wasn’t real. Either a dream sequence, or maybe he survives somehow.”

At the end of the last part, Ruth discovered the slain couple in their home, with the ending hinting that she will be hellbent on revenge in the final episodes of the thrilling drama.

Shedding light on why the scenes were necessary, showrunner Chris Mundy revealed it had a lot to do with setting up Ruth’s story arc for the next chapter.

He revealed to Entertainment Weekly: “It wasn’t something that was immediately planned, but a lot of it too had to do with Ruth and trying to get her to the most raw place we could get her,’ he said.

“Obviously, that character has been through a lot in our four seasons on the show.

“But Wyatt was the thing she cared most about in the world and we really wanted to leave her going into the final little bit deciding, what’s the best path forward?”

Fans will have to sit tight until season four part two is released to see just how Ruth responds to Wyatt and Darlene’s murder

Ozark season 4, part 2 will be released on Friday, April 29 on Netflix.

The trailer has hinted at the death of two major characters
