AFTER being diagnosed with motor neurone disease, Paul Foreman is trying to make the most of every moment he has left.
Unfortunately, the Coronation Street builder played by Peter Ash realises his time is quickly running out next week on ITV.

He faces harrowing changes next week
After going through legal turmoil, the builder is slowly preparing for his wedding with long-time partner Billy Mayhew (Daniel Brocklebank).
But with his MND diagnosis weighing heavy on his mind and the symptoms of his condition becoming incapacitating, Paul is finding every day harder than the previous one.
Coming up next week, in the flower shop flat, Billy notices Paul struggling with his right leg.
Paul does his best to cover, secretly dismayed at his deterioration but Billy returns home with a walking aid for him.
When Paul admits that the walking aid will take some getting used to, Billy suggests a wheelchair instead, but he is horrified at the very idea.
Later on, Billy presents Paul with an engagement ring for his birthday and he is overcome with emotion.
But when he turns up at the Bistro for the joint party with his twin sister Gemma (Dolly-Rose Campbell) he is overwhelmed to see so many people.
Gemma suggests he take Bryn outside for a run around at the park.
When Bryn runs off Paul tries to go after him but crashes to the ground – how will he cope?
Back at the flat, Paul admits he can’t manage the stairs.
Billy enlists Todd Grimshaw’s (Gareth Pierce) help.
Between them they carry Paul up to the flat and he feels utterly humiliated.
Defeated and overwhelmed, Paul reluctantly admits it might be time for a stair lift.
In later scenes, Paul gets into the spirit of Pride and is up for fancy dress but he is dismayed when his occupational therapist agrees with Billy that it is probably time for a wheel chair.
Paul is angry at Billy and when David Platt (Jack P. Shepherd) reveals that he found Paul knocking back vodka on a bench, the vicar blames himself and explains that they had an argument.
Billy watches as three drag queens help Paul out of a taxi and carry him into the Rovers.
As everyone rallies round him Paul gets upset that it will be his last ever Pride.
The hot-tempered son of Bernie Winter is set to make an emotional exit from the long-running soap as his illness slowly takes over.
As he was informed upon his first visit to health professionals, MND will eventually lead Paul to develop generalised paralysis, lose speech and have difficulty swallowing before experiencing other distressing cognitive and physical changes.
How will Paul’s last moments in the cobbles play out?
Coronation Street airs every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8pm on ITV.
