PETER Andre has finally allowed eldest daughter Princess to watch Love Island after years of blocking her requests.
Yet he revealed for the teen, who he shares with former glamour model Katie Price, 43, the matchmaking series’ 2021 instalment was an anti climax and she actually “wasn’t that fussed.”
The Mysterious Girl hitmaker, 48, previously told how he won’t allow Princess, 14, to watch one of ITV’s most popular reality TV shows – despite finding love with her mum Katie Price on I’m A Celebrity.
Yet it appears he backtracked following the start of this year’s sun-soaked series.
Peter addressed his concession in his column for New Magazine, and wrote: “I did say I wasn’t going to let Princess watch Love Island but now she’s 14 I decided to give in and she watched it with me.
“In a way I’m glad I let her because she wasn’t that fussed by it.
“I said ‘there you go, you don’t need to watch it again!’.”
LIKE FATHER, LIKE KIDS
He added: “I know I’ve said I don’t want them going on the show, but in reality once they get to 18 they will be making their own decisions.
“I would actually love for the kids to do I’m A Celebrity one day as I think it would be a great experience – and if it wasn’t for the show Junior and Princess wouldn’t even be here!”

STRICT DAD
Peter previously revealed his strict attitude towards reality telly when it comes to his kids.
“I love them watching the show, but I told them ‘you are not going on it’,” he told Woman.
“I don’t allow Princess to watch the show, but she’s just turned 14 so maybe I’ll change my mind.”
He added: “I do think Junior will go on I’m a Celebrity at some point.
“And I get that because he and Princess are the only children to ever have been born as a result of the jungle.”
PURE PRINCESS
Earlier this month, dad-of-four Peter pulled out all the stops for Princess’ birthday cake as she turned 14.
The teen spent the day with Pete, as mum Katie, 43, remained in Turkey recovering from full-body lipo.
Meanwhile their son Junior did admit he would jump at the chance to go on I’m A Celebrity like his parents – but ruled out Love Island.
Seventeen years on after Peter and Katie met in the jungle, Junior is ready to jet off to Australia and get stuck into the bushtucker trials.
He told OK!: “I love the people on it [Love Island] and I’m not mocking them, but I think I would feel too embarrassed about my parents watching me.
“I’d actually love to do I’m A Celebrity if I got the opportunity.”
