PETER Crouch has called wife Abbey Clancy “highly critical” saying: “She’ll pick holes in whatever I do.”
It comes after the model, 35, gave an explosive interview saying the couple “hated” each other when she discovered she was pregnant with their fourth child.
The former England striker was speaking ahead of the debut of his new show Crouchy’s Year Late Euros: Live.
Told that it looks like he has a “fantastic relationship” with Abbey and asked if she will watch the series, OK! magazine said he laughed.
Peter, 40, went on: “Well, she’s highly critical, so she’ll pick holes in whatever I do.
“But she’ll 100 per cent be coming down to the studio at Wembley, especially if there’s a bar as well!”
Asked if the couple were planning to have any more kids, he said: “God no! Don’t ever have four.
“It was a ridiculous decision – one that I love and wouldn’t change for the world – but it’s tough.”
Abbey opened up about the couple’s previous marriage problems on Rob Beckett and Josh Widdicombe’s Lockdown Parenting Hell podcast last month.
Speaking about the birth of their fourth child, she said: “We hated each other at that point as well so I don’t even know how I got pregnant to be quite honest.
“The pregnancy with our three-year-old Johnny was hell, I hated him and he hated me. So I don’t know how it happened.
“That’s why we call him the gift from God. He is just wonderful and he’s fabulous and he’s fitted in so well.”
Abbey also said she “battered” Peter after he lost their baby at a farm saying: “I threw a cup of coffee on him. I threw the coffee and I punched him. I don’t condone violence at all but it was out of panic.”
She and Peter got engaged in 2009 after meeting at a party and were married two years later.
