Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby almost unrecognisable as This Morning cast transform into The Addams family

THIS Morning fans were left gobsmacked today as the cast of the show completely transformed for Halloween – becoming The Addams Family.

Holly Willoughby looked almost unrecognisable dressed as Wednesday Addams, while Phillip become Uncle Fester, with a completely bald head.

Alison Hammond dressed as Morticia Addams, Gyles Brandreth was Cousin ‘Knit’ and Gok Wan took on Pugsley Addams while others also got into the spooky spirit.

Holly and Phil returned to the show today after a couple of weeks off for half term.

Mum-of-three Holly revealed her daughter Belle will be dressing up as Winnie Pooh today.

Those watching at home were really impressed with the costumes and took to Twitter to comment on it.

One person wrote: “Loving holly on @thismorning she is a perfect Wednesday

A second added: “Ahh they look brilliant and so does the studio! Love it!!! #ThisMorning.”

While a third tweeted: “Got to say done well this Halloween @thismorning.”

 Last week Phillip admitted he was looking forward to getting back to work after the holiday.

Rather than jetting off abroad for some sunshine, Phillip admitted he has stayed at home and been busy around the house.

Alongside a photograph of bulb packets, he told his Instagram followers: “What did I do in my half term break? …. bulb planting!”

Phillip then posted a snap of his empty cupboards, adding: “And cleaning out the cupboards!!

“Definitely ready to get back on @ThisMorning on Monday!”
