PIERS Morgan and Jeremy Clarkson have revealed the scars they gave each other – 16 years on from their furious punch-up.
The one-time showbiz rivals reunited on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? tonight and were quick to throw insults at each other.
Jeremy described the Good Morning Britain host as a “simply awful human” before being smug about Piers asking for his advice with the Ask The Host lifeline.
It comes 16 years after they famously brawled at the 2004 Press Awards.
The pair, who also clashed in 2003 when Jeremy allegedly threw wine at Piers as they boarded Concorde’s last flight, began to make-up in a six-hour drink session in 2014.
“I can think of a million reasons why I shouldn’t trust you,” said Piers on tonight’s quiz show.
“Including this scar on my forehead.
“And there’s your broken finger… from when he struck me.
“I’m going to say the words I never thought I’d say… I trust you. I believe you. At least this way if I’m wrong, it’s your fault.”
Piers needed help with the question: “Which of these insects has two pairs of full functioning wings?”
Jeremy successfully helped him onto the next question with the answer, “dragonfly.”
Despite making it to £16,000, Piers crashed out on a Formula 1 question after incorrectly guessing the answer.
After losing £15k, Piers generously promised to give his charity the cash out of his own pocket.
