PIERS Morgan sparked up a cigar and said he was going to reveal the “actual truth” after the Meghan Markle drama.
The 56-year-old former Good Morning Britain host is being interviewed about his Duchess drama and abrupt exit from the show on Fox News tonight.
Ahead of the interview, which airs at 9pm in the UK, he suggested Meghan might not exactly be in for an easy ride.
Paraphrasing Meghan use of the phrase “my truth” he said he was about to deliver the “actual truth”.
Tagging in his former employers Piers wrote: “My first TV interview since that rather abrupt departure from @GMB. It’s time America got the actual truth….”
He then shared a picture of him sitting in his garden smoking a large cigar suggesting he looked like he was in a gangster flick.
Piers tweeted: “I’m thinking of movies for my next career move. Gangster genre.”
The TV star famously quit GMB rather than apologise for saying he didn’t believe the Duchess, and will discuss the drama on Fox News tonight.
The interview, which airs at 4pm in the US but 9pm in the UK, is being conducted by Tucker Carlson.
Piers is planning to lift the lid on ex-Suits actress Meghan, who complained to ITV’s CEO hours before he quit the breakfast show, in an hour-long special.
Tucker, 51, said: “Piers Morgan was banished from television for asking a simple question.
“How is it that the most privileged people in our society get away with posing as the most oppressed?
“For asking that they crushed him – they took his job away. On Monday we will speak to Piers Morgan for his first wide-ranging on-camera interview since he was cancelled.”
The presenter came under fire for his comments about not believing Meghan’s claim she had been turned away from the Palace when she asked for help following suicidal thoughts.
He has since called Meghan a “fake virtue-signalling hypocrite” – and blasted Oprah Winfrey for failing to challenge the Duchess during their bombshell interview.
