A POPULAR thriller has been axed after just one series as the cast pay tribute to fans.
Prime Video has confirmed that Three Pines has been felled after one instalment on the platform.

The show saw a man investigate a series of murders in the village of Three Pines.
Chief Inspector Gamache tried to crack the perplexing murders as he was introduced to the indigenous villagers.
Actress Elle-Máijá Tailfeathers, who played the role of Isabelle Lacoste on the show has broken her silence following its axe.
She told fans that she was finding the cancellation “difficult to process” but thanked fans for their support.
“Thank you to everyone who watched and supported the show. It meant the world to me knowing that this show resonated with such a massive global audience.
“As an Indigenous actor, I never thought I’d have the opportunity to be the leading woman on a #1 show like this.
“It was huge. Our stories matter and this show demonstrated that audiences, regardless of background, are hungry for Indigenous content.”
Meanwhile, showrunner Emilia di Girolamo shared an insight into the behind-the-scenes attempt at bringing Three Pines back for a second run.
She revealed how Amazon, Sony Pictures and Left Bank Pictures were locked in negotiations but ultimately couldn’t reach a deal.
The news comes as paranormal fans were dealt a blow this week after it was revealed that Discovery+ series Portals To Hell will not return for a fourth season.
The show was hosted by Jack Osbourne and Katrina Weidman and saw them explore locations believed to be haunted in search of supernatural phenomena.
The show first aired in 2019 and has amassed 40 episodes across its three seasons so far.
It was broadcast on Really in the UK and the Travel Channel in the US but now the show’s resident medium Michelle Belanger has confirmed it has been axed.
