GEMMA Atkinson has revealed she has decided not to find out when her baby is due.
The Strictly star, who is expecting her second child with Gorka Marquez, has been given a vague timeframe instead because she doesn’t want it to stress her out.

The 38-year-old opened up about her decision to fans, revealing she just knew she was due around the end of June to the beginning of July.
Gemma explained: “I’ve been asked this a lot but I’ve specifically asked for a time frame instead of a due date for a few reasons… 1. I think we become too obsessed with that one day.
“2. If there arrive before or after that day we start ‘they are late or early panic / anxiety’. So with that in mind I’ve asked for a ‘timeframe’.
“I’ve been told any time from the back few weeks in June to the front few weeks in July he could be coming. Happier me that way as I’m more chilled and accepting of he’ll come when he’s ready.”
She went on to reply to a follower who told her she was a week overdue and people kept pestering her.
Gemma told her fan: “That’s the thing with just a date. The last thing you want is people mithering and adding pressure. We genuinely go in to labour when we feel relaxed, safe and calm and being constantly badgered by people about being overdue will put your body and mind in the opposite state.”
Gemma, who is already mum to Mia, three, announced she was pregnant with her second child in February and judging by the big reveal post, her partner Gorka is over the moon too.
The couple, who met on Strictly in 2017, recently revealed that they actually became an item after the BBC dancing show ended, not during despite speculation.
And the pair have been going from strength to strength. Gemma posted a black and white picture of her bump. And Gemma wrote: “Impossible to hide my belly any longer. I’ve officially ‘popped’.”
She added: “Our baby boy will be joining our family later this year. We feel so incredibly blessed and grateful to be on this journey again.”
