Theo Hawthorne (portrayed by William Ellis) has been bending over backwards to make a good impression on Stacey (Lacey Turner).
But their growing friendship has led her to consider him as her plus one for Kathy Beale and Rocky Cotton’s wedding.
In scenes airing next week on BBC One, Lily Slater (Lillia Turner) is horrified that Theo is her mum’s wedding date.
To make matters worse for her, Stacey doesn’t remember leaving a drunken voicemail asking her former husband Martin Fowler (James Bye) to be her plus one instead.
It’s awkward when Martin shows up just after Theo and suggests she ditches him, leaving her with a tough decision to make.
At the registry office, Martin and Stacey share a moment – but could they give things another go?
In later scenes, Stacey feels awkward as Theo tries to wind Martin up by kissing her hand.
She’s conflicted about what to do about Martin, but her mother Jean (Gillian Wright) tells her to stop getting in the way of her own happiness.
Stacey makes a decision about her future and whether Martin is part of it – how will Theo react?
While the pair appear united as they join the Brannings for another family conference, Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) tries to convince her best friend that she should give Martin another shot.
But Stacey isn’t sure whether she should be taking the risk after their troubled past and her connection with Theo.
Later on, Stacey drops a bombshell on Martin and it could dash all hopes of a reconciliation.
To make matters worse, Stacey has no idea Theo is her Secret Cam client and he’s been surfing on her page under an alias.
