RANVIR Singh has reversed the Strictly curse – by finding love with a toyboy 18 years her junior from the BBC dancing show.
The Good Morning Britain presenter met Louis Church when he was a production secretary on her series last year.
Speaking exclusively to The Celeb Report about their romance, Ranvir gushed: “I’m really happy.”
Ranvir, 44, and Louis, 26, went public with their relationship on Saturday when they attended Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball with Barclaycard at London’s O2 Arena.
It comes a year after her divorce from ex-husband Ranjeet Singh Dehal, with whom Ranvir has a son, Tushaan, aged nine.
Onlookers revealed how the pair cuddled and kissed at the bash which they attended with Tushaan on Sunday.
A source said: “Ranvir and Louis have been dating for a few months and are totally in love.
“She has met his family and went to his aunt’s wedding with him last week. And it’s obvious Louis has taken a real shine to Tushaan.
“They’ve kept their romance out of the spotlight but when Ranvir was invited to go to the music event at O2 she wanted to go with Louis and her son.
“They both are clearly madly in love and were holding hands nearly all day. They have incredible chemistry.
“Ranvir was beaming with happiness as she watched Louis and Tushaan together.
“Louis couldn’t stop smiling either and he looked really proud as Ranvir posed for pictures with fans.
“They seemed like a really happy family unit. It’s so great to see Ranvir so happy again.”
During her time on the BBC dancing show last year, Ranvir’s close friendship with her professional partner Giovanni Pernice raised eyebrows.
But once the show was over it was Louis, who has also worked on shows including Soccer Aid and Come Dine With Me, she chose to Waltz off with.
Ranvir confirmed she had divorced her former husband Ranjeet last year, eight years after their wedding in 2012.
She has never talked in depth about why they ended their marriage but on Good Morning Britain in 2019, a year before their split, admitted she had found something on Ranjeet’s phone.
During a discussion with her ITV show co-star Ben Shepherd on air about whether you should check your partner’s phone, Ranvir said she had done it once.
She added: “I found something that needed addressing.”
“So I would say you think you don’t need to do it until you do.”
Later she continued: “I have always thought that if you ever feel you need to do that then the relationship is over because you obviously don’t trust that person.”
