THE Real Housewives of Cheshire has been left in chaos as bosses scramble to find new stars following a mass walk-out.
In the last two years big names including Dawn Ward and Tanya Bardsley have quit the ITVBe reality show.
Lauren Brown and Esther Dee also walked away from the programme and, most recently, Debbie Davies left to pursue a TV career in America.
Now The Celeb Report can reveal producers are on the hunt for new stars to fill the gaps ahead of the 15th series.
A source said: “It’s a nightmare to lose so many people, especially such big characters like Tanya.
“After Debbie quit bosses knew it was time to start hunting for new stars – they know they’ve got some huge personalities to replace so they’re not looking for just anyone.”
Series 15 of the hit show has yet to be announced after the latest wrapped in December.
Last year The Celeb Report exclusively revealed that Tanya had quit after six years following a behind-the-scenes battle with anxiety.
A source said: “Tanya has been on Real Housewives since it first aired, but she’s made up her mind to leave.
“She’ll finish the current series and appear in the reunion show but nothing more than that.”
One person we’re told producers were keen to talk back onto the show is Christine McGuinness.
An insider said: “There’s no denying Christine’s star has risen dramatically since her last appearance in 2020 – it would be a great storyline if she was to return to the show.”
But there seems little to no chance of that, as Christine’s husband Paddy McGuinness is said to be over the moon that she ditched the “gossiping” and “going for lunches”.
A source told OK! Magazine: “He thinks this is a step in the right direction.
“He never really liked her being on the Housewives. He feels like she’s doing something that doesn’t involve her going for lunches and gossiping with other women.”
It was revealed earlier this month that Debbie is chasing a telly career in the US, with an insider telling Daily Star: “It’s a show that takes up a lot of time to film and Debbie has so many other things going on at the moment.
“There are producers in the United States that want her to film a ghost and paranormal show.”
