A STAR of The Real Housewives has splashed out £11million on a stunning 1000-year-old medieval castle in Kent with plans for her own Escape to the Chateau-esque show.
Dr Ann Kaplan Mulholland rose to fame on reality TV show The Real Housewives of Toronto but has now left Canada behind to take up residence in a unique property in the English countryside called Lympne Castle.

The impressive Grade I listed castle features a whopping 27,000 square feet and a colossal 20 bedrooms as well as 139 acres of wood and pasture land and overlooks the Romney Marsh and the English Channel.
With four guest cottages and a flurry of kitchens, living areas and even a number of walled gardens, it comes as no surprise that Ann and her husband, world renowned plastic surgeon Dr. Stephen Mulholland, have chosen to continue the long-running tradition of keeping it open as a dream fairytale wedding location.
Inspired by the success of Channel 4 hit Escape to the Chateau, Ann and her family are also planning to welcome in the cameras to capture the magic of the castle as well as the many adventures and shenanigans that come with running the exquisite property.
The family are currently finalising a deal with a major TV network to bring the show to life.
On the show, Ann’s £15million renovation is set to be captured in all its glory.
Speaking of the renovations, the star, believed to be worth in excess of £500million, said: “We are refurbishing the castle – the goal is for each piece, each turn, each encounter to be an experience.
“I say that if you are going to buy a castle, go all in!”
It is also set to follow Ann and her team as they help to host the weddings of dreams after a disaster mishap saw the previous owner accidentally cancel all bookings over the next two years.
Generous Ann instantly reinstated the ceremonies as well as offering guests a 20% reduction fee.
TV personality Ann added: “What bride would not want to be married in a castle?
“From the moment you enter through the large gates presenting stone walls and turrets to when a lady-in-waiting greets you, the whole experience transforms you back in time hundreds of years.”
Ann is not the only famous face to have set foot in the castle with a string of A-list names also having spent time there.
Legend Sir Paul McCartney recorded an album whilst staying at the property as well as Mick Jagger who enjoyed some time there following a nearby gig.
Not a novice to the property world, jet-setter Ann owns 11 palatial homes worldwide with her husband and their eight children but she has now put her feet firmly on the ground in Kent to focus on being the next Angel Strawbridge.
Showing her commitment to her new neighbours, Ann is planning to take on a number of new staff members to work alongside her at the venue in what she hopes will provide a real boost to the community.
She said: “We will be giving back and supporting the county of Kent.
“The act of giving will be encompassed in our culture at the castle.”
