Reality TV star Calum Best fails to repay debts of £250,000

Reality TV Star's Financial Troubles

Former Celebrity Big Brother and Love Island star Calum Best has failed to repay debts totaling £250,000. Despite earning substantial amounts from various reality TV shows, including SAS: Who Dares Wins and Celebrity Love Island, Best's media firm, Trouble to Triumph Limited, faced financial difficulties.

Agreement to Repay

After appointing liquidators to handle the closure of his company, Best has agreed to repay £60,000 in monthly instalments. This decision comes after liquidators discovered significant debts, including a £48,971 director's loan and an £85,625 tax bill.

Previous Financial Setbacks

This is not the first time Best has faced financial challenges. In 2013, he had to surrender a £75,000 18-carat gold watch to cover unpaid tax bills after declaring bankruptcy. Trouble to Triumph Limited was established in 2015, coinciding with Best's appearance on Celebrity Big Brother, for which he was paid £50,000.

Current Ventures

Aside from his reality TV appearances, Best also serves as the chairman of the Dorking Wanderers FC women's team, showcasing his involvement in sports beyond the entertainment industry.
