A legendary star from the hit show The Only Way Is Essex (TOWIE) has bid farewell to her life in Essex and embarked on a new journey with her fiancé.

Saying Goodbye to Glitz and Glam

Megan McKenna, who gained fame on TOWIE in 2016, has now left behind the glitz and glamour of reality TV and Essex to start a new chapter with her Scottish footballer fiancé, Oliver Burke.

Taking to Instagram, she shared a glimpse of her new life, posting photos of herself packing up her belongings in her luxurious Essex home. Alongside a snap of the removal van and boxes filled with her possessions, she captioned, "Bye Essex, it's been fun."

A Romantic Proposal

The happy couple got engaged in June and Megan shared a romantic video of the proposal in Montenegro on Instagram. Blindfolded, she was taken to the location by boat, where Oliver got down on one knee in front of a rose petal-covered setting with lettered lights that asked, "Marry me?" Overwhelmed with emotion, Megan tearfully agreed to marry the "love of her life" and proudly showed off her diamond sparkler.

A Footballer's Love

Oliver spent the second half of the last football season on loan with Millwall and there were recent reports of a loan deal to re-sign him. He has also played for Nottingham Forest and Sheffield United.

Rising to Fame and Pursuing Music

McKenna rose to fame on TOWIE from 2016 to 2017. In 2018, she launched her music career with the release of her debut studio album, Story of Me. She also won X Factor: Celebrity in 2019.
