REBEKAH Vardy has revealed she is hoping for a WAG war ‘resolution’ with rival Coleen Rooney in the new year.
The two women are currently locked in a legal battle after Coleen, 34, accused Rebekah, 38, of leaking stories about her to the press.
Rebekah has vehemently denied the accusations and is suing Coleen for libel damages in a £1 million High Court case that has the nation gripped.
However, the wife of Leicester City’s Jamie Vardy is hoping the case can be resolved as soon as possible in 2021.
Speaking to Hello! Magazine, Rebekah said: “The new year could potentially see a resolution between us.
“I’m pretty sure the public are sick of reading about it, too.”
In the meantime, Rebekah is focusing on Christmas with her family, which includes her three children with Jamie and her two elder children from a previous relationship.
Rebekah, who will be taking part in Dancing on Ice in January, said Christmas means a lot to her considering she was never allowed to celebrate it as a child as her family were Jehovah’s Witnesses.
She told the publication: “I wasn’t allowed to celebrate Christmas or go to birthday parties, to attend school assemblies – the list goes on.
“On Christmas Day, I had to join the church elders to knock on people’s doors and try to convert them.
“I feel like I missed out on so many precious times. That’s why I go crazy with decorations now.
“It’s almost as if I’m reliving my childhood. I want to do everything I couldn’t do when I was younger.”
