NEW Emmerdale villain Greg has been causing a stir in the Dales since viewers were first introduced to him as Ethan Anderson’s boss.
Slimy Greg first caused waves in his attempt to split Ethan and boyfriend Marcus Dean up when he attempted to make a pass at Marcus on the ITV show.

Furious at what had occurred, Ethan filed an official complaint over his boss’ improper conduct and the story is now taking centre stage once again as the case against Greg is decided.
In a last-ditch effort to gain some supporting evidence to prove what Greg did, Naomi and Marcus convince hunky Nate to flirt up a storm with Greg in order to catch him out.
With Greg claiming to be straight during the investigation, accepting Nate’s advances would be crucial in determining that he is in fact not.
However Greg quickly realised what he was up to and caught him out which led to Marcus landing a punch right in his face.
This action forced Ethan to drop his claims against Greg in order to save his legal career.
But for the actor who plays Greg, Daniel Betts, this is certainly not his first rodeo when it comes to big name TV work.
Fans will remember seeing Daniel in racy Netflix series Sex Education.
He portrayed the role of Sergeant Morris in an episode broadcast in 2020.
As well as this, he held a regular role in Fate: The Winx Saga.
Daniel has also cropped up in many a famous drama such as Gentleman Jack and The Crown as well as treading the boards of theatre.
Having a powerful voice has set Daniel up in good stead as he has been able to lend his voice for many voiceover roles too, particularly for television adverts.
Daniel was born in West Sussex back in 1971 and began his acting career after attending the Drama Centre in 1993.
