Over a decade later, the actor is no longer the baby-faced star that fans of the fictional fantasy series will remember.

Art was born in the seaside village of Moville, Ulster in Ireland on 19 October 2001 – making him 20-years-old.

He is best known for playing Rickon but many may also recognise him from his lead role of Kubo in 2016’s Kubo and the Two Strings.

The actor made his screen debut in Freakdog and later went on to star in Irish horror movie Dark Touch.

He played Ingeras in Dracula Untold and starred as Ollie in 2015 flick San Andreas.

In 2019, the star also starred as Rob Armstrong in ITV murder series The Bay.

The drama followed Detective Sergeant Lisa Armstrong’s latest missing persons investigation.

However, she couldn’t help but get personally caught up in the drama as she realised her connection with the frightened family of the missing individual.

During the fourth episode, Rob’s sister Abbie was forced to continue drug dealing by manipulative builder Vincent.

Meanwhile her brother Rob has been caught in an increasingly dangerous online game of dares, and despite wanting to break away from it, he looked like he was going to steal his grandmother’s ring.

Viewers slammed Lisa as a bad mum after she let her son play the dangerous game, with one writing: “Is Lisa the sh***est parent ever? #thebay.”

Another posted: “Lisa is an appalling mother, why doesn’t she ever talk to her children ? #thebay.”

In the final episode of The Bay, Sam (Louis Greatorex) was revealed as the actual murderer of Dylan.

The talented star is also bilingual after having attended an Irish language school.

From a family of TV stars, his mother Movania is also an actress as well as his elder brothers Pearce and Padhraig.

The telly star previously admitted to being banned from watching Game of Thrones by his parents due to its explicit content.

The TV star has since appeared in variety of shows including ITV’s The Bay in 2019
