Restaurant launched by Love Island star apologises over ‘noise and drug use’

A RESTAURANT that was launched by former Love Island winner Kem Cetinay has apologised over “noise and drug use” after closing its doors.

Array was plagued by complaints and last year had its opening hours cut over a stabbing.

The Array Restaurant in Romford, Essex, shut down on July 9 but has plans to reopen

It shut down on July 9 with bosses planning new management to reopen.

Kem, 27, launched the venue with business partner Nadir Gul in 2021 and it quickly became a hotspot for reality stars.

In a letter seen by The Celeb Report on Sunday, Nadir addressed the “significant tension” caused by the establishment.

But one neighbour in Shepherds Hill, Essex, said: “We’ve suffered for two years and people have even moved home.”

Nadir said sorry for “unfortunate incidents”.

Kem won Love Island in 2017 with Amber Davies – only for the pair to split months later.

He declined to comment on the restaurant yesterday.

A source said Kem had parted ways with the business in December.
