RHOA fans shocked by ‘cast overhaul’ as TWO huge stars ‘leave the show’ ahead of season 14

RHOA fans were shocked after it was announced that two cast members would be leaving the show as they gear up for the 14th season.

Entertainment Reporter, Anthony Dominic shared the news on his Instagram Stories that Porsha Williams will not be returning for the upcoming season.

The cast for season 14 of the show has been announced with some changes

The journalist listed the castmates that will allegedly be appearing on the show, revealing that there will be a “new girl” as well as some “possible cameos” from past cast members.

He also reported that Drew Sidora, Marlo Hampton, Kandi Burress, Kenya Moore, and Sheree Whitfield will be returning to the broadcast, which is set to film in October 2021.

Anthony explained Porsha’s absence saying that she wants to focus on her relationship and family, as well as her new spin-off series.

CAST SHAKEUP

Back in July, there was talk about a cast shakeup although it was not confirmed which ladies would be moving on from the Bravo series.

Sources told lovebscott.com that production “has no idea who they want to round out the cast and why.”

Porsha Williams is “seriously considering” not next season, according to sources at Love B. Scott. She is filming an eight-episode spinoff about her life with her family and her whirlwind relationship with Simon Guobadia.

Although Bravo wants her back, Porsha is keen on dealing with judgment about her fiance, and she fears producers and other women try to dig up more dirt on Simon and possible other affairs, the website reports.

They think that for now she’ll sit RHOA out and stick with her new spinoff and Bravo’s Chat Room.

However, according to Love B. Scott, Sheree was rumored to return with a “starter housewife salary.”

Marlo was also suspected to be joining full-time at a similar rate if Cynthia Bailey did not return

But production is reportedly looking for other ladies to try to bring the cast to seven, and no, that will definitely not include Nene Leakes, Love B. Scott confirms.

CYNTHIA’S OUT

In June, it was rumored Cynthia was leaving the show when she removed the RHOA hashtag from her Instagram bio.

Although she doesn’t appear to be on the roster for next season, at the time, the TV personality insisted she hasn’t been fired.

She told Love B. Scott that she chose to remove the hashtag from her bio a while back, adding that she hasn’t been fired “to her knowledge.”

However, Cynthia implied that she has not yet been asked back for the next season of RHOA as she said she “would like the option to return.”

CHANGING DIRECTIONS

The Bravo star also spoke about her hopes to return to the show in a recent interview with Sheen Magazine.

She told the outlet: “Oh, I 100 percent always want the option.

“The way that Housewives’ gig works every year is, you know, every year either you’re invited back or you may not want to come back.”

Cynthia continued: “But, you always want the option, so of course I always want to have the option.

“And right now we’re not currently filming at the moment, so I have some time to think about which direction I wanna go. They have time to figure out what they want to do at the show.

“That’s bigger than me. I’m like just tell me [if] I have the option to come back or not. If I do, let me think about it and figure it out like I do every year.”

Season 14 of Real Housewives of Atlanta is set to air in April 2022.

Cynthia Bailey was also excluded from the cast lineup
