RHOBH star Erika Jayne slammed a fan’s tweet insinuating that she get a job at the New Jersey strip club she used to work at amid her legal drama.
The reality star is currently battling a massive embezzlement case with her estranged husband Tom Girardi, 82.
A user took a dig at the TV star on Twitter writing “I called Shakers… they’re hiring!,” referring to the gentlemen’s club that the 50-year-old artist used to dance at before finding fame.
Erika clapped back at the troll responded: “Tell your mom congratulations”
FIELD TRIP
On a previous episode of the Bravo series, Erika took her castmates to visit her former place of employment.
Erika said in a confessional scene in the promo of taking her friends to the club: “This summer we’ve all grown closer as a friend group.
“I’ve opened myself up and shared things about my life.
“But it also makes me nervous. I don’t know how it’s going to be received.
“Are they going to be accepting? Or are they going to pass judgement?”
Walking into the club Lisa Rinna said: “It’s like ‘The Sopranos.'”
She later said she couldn’t picture her own 18-year-old daughter stripping and dancing in one of these clubs.
Erika responded in an interview scene: “Maybe if I had grown up with wealthy parents, I wouldn’t have been working at a place like Shakers.
“But you play the hand you’re dealt.”
The episode aired before the Broadway actress’ alleged involvement in an embezzlement scheme with her lawyer husband came to light.
LEGAL DRAMA
Erika and Tom have been accused of stealing settlement funds intended for the families of victims killed in a 2018 plane crash.
Court papers seen by The Celeb Report show Erika’s company was allegedly given more than $25million by her now ex’s legal firm, which has now filed for bankruptcy, and she is being asked to pay it back.
The 50-year-old has denied knowing anything about her husband’s finances during their marriage and said the money was not for her.
ANDY WENT THERE
During the show’s reunion taping earlier this month, host Andy Cohen grilled Erika about her divorce and other scandals leaving no stone unturned.
According to a source, Andy was told by network bosses to ask the “difficult” questions fans have been demanding answers to all season long.
The insider said: “Andy didn’t go easy on Erika during the taping.
“The network expects this to be one of the highest rated reunions so they encouraged Andy to ‘go there’ with the questions without exposing the show or Erika to any more legal issues.
“There is a lot to cover this year so Erika’s story took center stage before the other storylines were addressed.
“The plan was to shoot the most difficult questions first so they had the footage even if Erika decided to leave.
“There were several clashes and Erika left the reunion unhappy because she felt attacked by the line of questioning.”
‘PREPARING FOR BATTLE’
According to an insider, the highly-anticipated reunion was filmed on September 9 and 10 in Los Angeles.
“She’s preparing for battle and she knows she will be hit with tough questions,” the informant previously said.
“So she is putting a lot of time into her preparation and working closely with her attorneys to plan how to respond to certain questions.
“They have briefed her and instructed her what to not say or how to phrase certain things.
“Her legal team isn’t thrilled with some of the footage they’ve seen from this season and want to make sure Erika doesn’t make anymore on-camera mistakes.
The informant pointed out that, as the case remains ongoing, anything she says on television could “potentially be used against her in court.”
The reunion will air later this season on Bravo.
