RHOBH star slammed for ‘racist’ Instagram comment and fans call for her to be FIRED from show

FANS are calling for REAL Housewives of Beverly Hills newbie Diana Jenkins to be fired, after she posted what they say is a racist comment on an Instagram user’s page.

The reality star was slammed for a “racially insensitive” comment she made toward a black woman who runs a Bravo fan account.

The controversial comment

Instagrammer Kristen Dionne shared a post comparing an old and recent photograph of Diana, joking about her look.

She captioned it: “Uuhhhh I guess the first (Diana) was the one that shopped in stores, and the 2nd is allergic to dust and doesn’t know what an outlet is.”

But Diana wasn’t laughing, and clapped back: “It can’t feel good being a Black content creator.”

The response from fans was almost immediate, with many calling her comment “racist.”

“The meme is just that she looks different in two pics,” one person commented on Reddit. “Imagine being such a pile of hate that a person posting a ‘with glam vs without glam’ would make you go full racist, under your verified account.”

Another user replied: “I am done with Diana Jenkins. She’s a racist BORE and a liar. Like, are you kidding with that s**t?”

While one simply added: “Racists are exhausting.”

However, the anger didn’t stop there, with many calling for the Bosnia and Herzegovina native to be removed from the show.

“I really hope Bravo takes action and gets rid of her. Blatant racism is disgusting and I’m not here for rewarding it by allowing her to be on the show,” one angry fan wrote. “They can find another rich, out of touch, woman to replace her.”

Another fan added: “Bravo, come get your trash, you’ve done it again.”

And one fan wanted to see immediate change: “There is zero excuse for this type of comment to be ignored by the higher ups at Bravo.”

DIANA ‘DEVASTATED’

On Friday, Diana tried to walk back her comment.

“I assumed ‘Black content creator’ was a title referring to a page that would be focused on snarky content,” she explained. “I copied the term because I thought that’s what it meant.

“I didn’t realize it was referencing to you as a Black woman and a content creator.”

She then asked for understanding since she is from a different country.

“I’m devastated that this was taken to mean something racially insensitive. I understand now why it was taken that way and that was never my intention. I am truly sorry.”

But on Twitter, the original target, Kristen, took offense that the apology wasn’t shared with her.

“She posted it on her page to her followers,” Kristen tweeted. That apology was not for me.”

PAST RUMORS

This isn’t the new Housewives’ first controversy. Just days ago, she broke her silence on rumors that she is a “madam of high-class prostitutes”.

On this week’s episode, Diana spoke out about the “ridiculous” gossip that spread after she released a nude coffee table book.

In a confessional, Diana admitted: “I don’t particularly wanna talk about the book tonight because it took a lot of money, a lot of time to achieve what I did, but it backfired.”

It comes after rumors spread that the book was “a catalog of clients and call girls” according to a 2012 Jezebel article.

Diana herself was accused of running a “secret call-girl ring”.

She continued: “All these rumors started, it was like an offense of my character.”

A producer then asked the star directly: “So you’re not like an international sex trafficker? And madam of high-class prostitutes? Is that what you’re trying to tell me?”

Diana laughed as she replied: “It’s honestly so ridiculous that I can’t even believe it actually could have caught on.”

She added: “It’s very very dangerous, all you need to do is leave a bunch of fake rumors and you can actually destroy somebody’s life.

“It was just a very painful time, but truth prevailed. Everybody knows now.”
