FANS believed that Kelly Dodd being replaced by Heather Dubrow was foreshadowed in a tense 2016 fight scene between the two housewives.
The Real Housewives of Orange County star was “fired” due to her controversial views and commentary.
Kelly, 45, and Heather, 52, had an explosive altercation in a 2016 episode of the Bravo show after the controversial star called their co-star Shannon Beador a “c**t.”
The Instagram account @brandsbybravo re-shared the heated moment that occurred during a dinner party, where Heather scolded her co-star for the comment.
“I’m not doing this Kelly, this is not okay,” she ranted, continuing: “I think that you are probably a very good person at heart, but this behavior is not acceptable. LEAVE!”
The room was left in shock as Kelly replied: “Hey what are you, the boss?”
Later during the episode in a confessional, the newly terminated housewife complained: “Who the hell does Heather think she is to be kicking me out?”
The Bravo fan page added the caption: “I love a good foreshadowing” and “Dubrow in. Dodd OUT” as they claimed that the episode gave a taste for what was to come nearly five years later.
Several fans agreed with the sentiment as they took to the comments section to slam Kelly as an “awful” cast member.
“This scene is where Kelly showed exactly who she was throwing around the ‘c’ word. She wasn’t awful for her politics or Covid rhetoric.
“She was vile long before that. Goodbye is long overdue,” one scathed.
Others showered Heather with praise as she prepares for her RHOC return, writing: “Left on her own and asked to come back after all these years while Kelly was not asked back. That’s who Heather is!”
“Took long enough,” a second put shortly, while a third agreed: @kellyddodd yes @heatherdubrow is the boss because you are fired!!”
“All is right in the world again,” another closed.
Earlier this week it was revealed that both Kelly, Braunwyn Windham-Burke, and Elizabeth Lyn Vargas were fired from RHOC due to their controversial behavior on and off-air.
A Bravo spokesperson confirmed their departure to Variety on Tuesday, as they explained the lady’s contracts were not renewed to begin filming next month.
The show is expected to add one or two new women to the cast for the new season, and Shannon Beador, Gina Kirschenheiter, and Emily Simpson will return.
Kelly joined the cast in season eleven, and made it through until season 15.
The decision to ax the Bravo star did not come as a surprise to fans, who have slammed her for her controversial views expressed during Covid.
While partying in a crowded restaurant during the pandemic, the TV personality received backlash when she made a toast to “super spreaders.”
In April 2020, Kelly claimed people who died from Covid would have “died anyway” with or without the virus.
Fans also called her “insensitive” for wearing a “Drunk Wives Matter” hat to a bridal shower.
Heather starred on the show from season seven to eleven and was known for her confrontational sharp wit and her marriage to plastic surgeon and Botched star Terry Dubrow.
