RICHARD Madeley left viewers stunned when he revealed he wasn’t wearing underwear on live TV.
The 66-year-old confessed to being commando on Sunday Brunch yesterday when chatting to presenters Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer.
They were joking about how Richard had previously said he likes to go pants-free under his trousers.
“Have you come commando Richard Madeley this morning?” they asked.
Richard admitted: “Yeah!”
Giggling, the Good Morning Britain star added: “I would not volunteer this information but you’ve put me on the spot on network television.
“What am I supposed to do, lie?”

Laughing viewers were quick to react to Richard ditching his boxers.
“Richard Madeley admitting he always goes commando within the first 2 minutes of @SundayBrunchC4 has really kickstarted my morning,” one person tweeted.
“Only five minutes in and you can tell it’s going to be a cracker of a show today,” another joked.
Others said they didn’t appreciate his honesty.
One said: “Richard Madeley announcing on the TV that he goes commando is not what I want to hear before I’ve had coffee…. Or at anytime of the day actually.”
Another person tweeted: “I could have heaved at the revelation that Richard Madeley doesn’t wear underwear. Yuk yuk yukkety yuk.”
