RICHARD Madeley has been accused of “insensitive” questioning on Good Morning Britain today during an interview with Meghan Markle’s sister Samantha.
The Duchess of Sussex‘s half-sister spoke of their father’s ailing health after Thomas Markle suffered a serious fall days before he was rushed to hospital — forcing him to pull out of a planned trip to London for the Platinum Jubilee.
Samantha also berated Meghan for not getting in touch with Thomas since his latest health crisis.
Richard interrupted his GMB guest and said: “Why should she?”
He then claimed Thomas planned to “stalk” Megan and Harry.
The presenter hammered the point home, adding: “He was going to follow them around London with a film crew, throwing questions at them if he could get near enough. Essentially what we call in the business, doorstep them.”

Some viewers were horrified by his blunt tone given Thomas’ medical current condition, and one said: “Richard Madeley with some really insensitive questions.”
Another compared him to former GMB host Piers Morgan.
The Duchess of Sussex’s half-sister, who claimed they last spoke in 2016, told Richard, 65, “the door is wide open” for Meghan to privately re-connect with their father.
Samantha Markle told ITV’s Good Morning Britain: “He loves all of us and he’s been bashed in the media for always speaking out to extend an olive branch to reach out to her (Meghan).
“He is her father so he has a right to reach out to her. He has been very honest and open in those feelings and the door is wide open.

“She’s always had his phone number, it hasn’t changed, and his address, so any suggestion that she doesn’t know how to get hold of him and that she wanted to be private is somewhat ridiculous on the grounds that if you want to reach out to your father privately you know how to do it.
“And you don’t use PR and media outlets all over the world to make that announcement – that’s not private.”
She added that their father is “rebounding remarkably well” after suffering a stroke recently and losing the ability to speak.
