Ruth Langsford makes pointed quip on live TV
RUTH Langsford has taken a savage swipe at her ex Eamonn Holmes after their bitter split. The Loose Women star, 64, made a pointed quip on live TV having recently divided up their belongings as he moved out of their £3.5million Surrey mansion.
Ruth cheekily remarks on throwing out belongings
In a discussion on the topic of antiques, the panel debated whether they "hang onto old bits of tat" or chuck them out. Ruth then cheekily remarked: "I'm throwing out a lot of stuff out at the moment", which had the audience in hysterics.
Eamonn moves on with new girlfriend
Since the split, Eamonn has moved on with a new girlfriend 22 years his junior. Katie Alexander, 42, joined him at a friend’s wedding this weekend where they cosied up together. Ever since, Katie has been reportedly telling pals that 64-year-old Eamonn is her "soulmate".
Ruth and Eamonn's relationship timeline
Ruth and Eamonn - who share son Jack - first got together in 1996 and tied the knot in 2010. The former Friday This Morning hosts endured a stressful time before the split as Eamonn's health deteriorated, including a double hip replacement in 2016 and back surgery in 2020.
