Rylan Clark opens The Apprentice’s Thomas Skinner’s new shop after being ‘tricked’ into promoting it

RYLAN Clark made a special appearance at the opening of The Apprentice star Thomas Skinner’s new shop.

Rylan turned up to support his reality star mate at the opening of his new mattress store in Brentwood.

Thomas – who competed in the 2019 series of the BBC business competition – was former London market trader and now runs a mattress company.

He opened Bosh Beds on Saturday, with Rylan offering his services to promote it and take official opening duties.

Rylan cut the ribbons at the door to the shop before shouting out to the crowd, “now buy some beds.”

His appearance in Brentwood comes after Rylan hilariously claimed he’d been ‘tricked’ into it.

Rylan revealed what happened on Twitter: “So @iamtomskinner rings me. ‘Ry pop down Saturday to my shop opening’ I say course mate v proud of ya (known him for 15 years) He then sends me this… what a ****, I’m gonna kill you.”

On the tweet he shared a promotional poster for the shop opening that Thomas had already prepared and featured a picture of Rylan.

Besides Rylan was a speech bubble that read, “probably the best bed shop in the world.”

After doing the ribbon cutting, Rylan chatted to some of the crowd before getting cosy with Thomas on one of the beds.

Rylan put on a brave face after it was revealed this week his ex-husband Dan Neal was looking for love on Tinder.

Former police officer Dan, 42, has joined the dating app after he and 33-year-old Rylan ended their six-year marriage, The Celeb Report exclusively revealed.

Dan, who met Rylan after appearing on the 2013 series of Big Brother, can be seen topless in one of the three photos uploaded to his Tinder profile.

In the next photo he flashes his muscles and a third shows him beaming at the camera.

In place of a bio Dan simply askes: “What is love?”

Dan’s appearance on Tinder will no doubt come as a fresh blow to presenter Rylan, who has been open about his struggles since their split in June last year.

Rylan was recently forced to take time off work after suffering a mystery illness.

And in 2021 the former Celebrity Big Brother winner took an extended break from the spotlight following the end of his marriage.
