Rylan shows off his new teeth as he admits he’s ‘swollen and it hurts to smile’ after getting new veneers

RYLAN showed off his new teeth as he stepped out to film It Takes Two today – where he admitted that he is still “swollen” and “it hurts to smile” after getting new veneers.

The 33-year-old star broke the news to fans that he was replacing his teeth after eight years earlier this week.

And after hiding his fresh set of gnashers with masks and hoodies, he was happy to show them off today.

Dressed in all black, the TV favourite bared his new smile as he left the BBC studio.

And speaking to Tom Fletcher and his pro partner Amy Dowden on the show, he revealed how he is getting on.

The McFly frontman had said that he finds it “really hard” to smile while dancing on Strictly, with Rylan quipping in response: “It is at the minute anyway!” with reference to himself.

Tom and Amy then burst out laughing as the presenter admitted: “It’s still swollen”.

Rylan first got veneers when he made his debut hosting Big Brother’s Bit On The Side back in 2013.

He has since become famed for his blinding white smile, but he has always taken the jokes in his stride.

And this month he decided that it was time for change, and updated followers with his next move with a suitably dramatic statement on Twitter in the week.

He wrote at the time: “After 8 years. It hurts, so much, but sometimes you just have to let go. I’ve taken the decision to say goodbye… to my teeth
