Sam Thompson's Health Condition Could Pose Challenges in I'm A Celeb Camp

Heading into the Jungle

Reality TV star Sam Thompson is set to join the cast of I'm a Celebrity this weekend, as he prepares to face the challenges of the jungle. The Made in Chelsea star, 31, arrived in Brisbane earlier this week with a big smile on his face.

A Potential Hurdle

However, Sam has previously opened up about a health condition that could make life in the camp difficult for him and potentially rule him out of certain challenges. He has been diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), which can present various challenges in day-to-day activities.

Struggling with Everyday Tasks

Speaking about his experience, Sam revealed, "When I hit 30, I had this moment where I decided to figure myself out a little bit more, and put my finger on what was different. I misplace things, I'm quite bad at messaging my friends back, and I turn up late to events. I struggle with paying bills and get overwhelmed with simple tasks like paying parking tickets."

Support from Girlfriend Zara McDermott

Sam's girlfriend, Zara McDermott, who competed in this year's Strictly Come Dancing, has been a source of support for him at home. Sam admitted, "Even booking a flight can be hard because the second another tab pops up, I get overwhelmed. The wheels fall off, and Zara will have to step in to do it. I'm aware that I find things hard that other people find easy."

Joining the Camp

Despite the challenges he may face, Sam is ready to take on the adventure. He will join the full I'm A Celebrity 2023 lineup, which includes politicians, influencers, and daytime stars. Viewers can tune in on Sunday night to see how Sam navigates the jungle and overcomes any obstacles that come his way.
