SATURDAY Kitchen host Matt Tebbutt looked close to tears during the live show this morning after getting a surprise text.
The presenter, 49, halted the show to share some personal news after his daughter sent him a message sharing some happy news.

After the show aired a segment featuring Marcus Wareing’s Eton Mess, when the action returned to the studio, Matt was seen holding his phone.
“Thanks for that Marcus, that was all well and good, I loved your Eton Mess but, to be honest, I have just had a text from my daughter. Proud dad moment, she got a First from university!”
The show’s guests, including Countryfile and Strictly favourite Anita Rani erupted into cheers and clapped.
“So well done Jess, congratulations, ” continued Matt, who then put his hand on his chest and appeared genuinely emotional.
He then apologised for interrupting the show, saying: “Thanks for that. Yeah sorry, I have just taken over TV for my own gain. Right, let’s get back to the script.”
Matt is married with two children and lives in Monmouthshire.
It was viewers’ turn to be emotional earlier in the show, however, as chef Imad Alarnab shared his story about coming to the UK as a Syrian refugee.
One wrote: “Just heard @matt_tebbutt say to Imad “the world is a better place for you being in it”. Tears in my eyes well said #saturdaykitchen”.
A second wrote: “love Imad Alarnab. Inspiring and adorable man”.
