GOGGLEBOX star Scarlett Moffatt has revealed she and her beau Scott Dobinson have put their “dream “wedding plans on hold.
The Channel 4 favourite – who rose to fame in 2014 – opened up about how her future nuptials would be waiting another year.
Scarlett, 31, isn’t engaged to her policeman beau Scott, 36, yet, but the couple have been open about wanting to plan their big day.
Last summer, the TV star referred to her boyfriend as “my hubby” in an Instagram post – before clarifying, “someday”.
While fans have long been awaiting news of their engagement – and their wedding – Scarlett has vowed to put it off for another year.
She confirmed that it would “not be this year”, despite already planning for her name to become double barrelled after she’s wed.

“No not this year,” Scarlett said of the big day. “But we were on about names for a baby and Scott says I can’t lose my name Moffatt because like, ‘Everyone knows you as Moffatt’.
“I was like, ‘Oh, well, I’ll just add your name on the end’. I will just do that I think; it would be Moffatt-Dobinson.”
Scarlett hinted that she has been too busy with her TV work to think about getting stuck in with wedding planning.
As well as appearing on Good Morning Britain this week, she is set to present her own show, Pilgrimage: The Road to the Scottish Isles, on BBC2 tomorrow night.
Last year, Scarlett suggested it wouldn’t be long until she and Scott tied the knot as they discussed their wedding plans together.
Speaking on their podcast Scarlett Moffatt Wants to Believe, the TV star told fans she was keep to elope to Las Vegas.
“I’m not actually engaged yet, but I assume he’s going to do it at some point,” she joked. “I’ve always, always wanted a massive wedding, now I keep saying: ‘Let’s go to Vegas’.”
Scott replied: ” “She’s full of hints. It went from: ‘I’ve found this stately home, let’s have this massive ceremony, get all this catering in, this is how I want my tables.’
“To: ‘We’re going to Vegas, it’s what I really want to do because it will be fun.'”
‘He made a difference to my happiness’
Last week, Scarlett gushed over how her beau Scott helped her overcome vile trolling online slating her appearance.
She told of how her boyfriend of three years had been helping her feel “invincible” for the first time.
Scarlett — who battled Bell’s palsy as a teen after being hit by a car — said: “One side of my face is a bit further down than the other and I normally sleep with an eye mask on because that eye doesn’t close properly.
“Trolls have commented on it and sometimes I just give them the number for Samaritans.
“I say, ‘If you’re not feeling all right, here is the number because I just think you can’t be in a good place to project that much hate on to people’.
“But Scott has made a big difference to my happiness. When you have got lovely people around you, you do feel invincible to the trolls because you just don’t care any more.
“I think having this job where I’m looking at myself constantly, you have got to love your face because you are staring at it all the time.”
Pilgrimage: The Road to the Scottish Isles airs on BBC2 at 9pm on Friday
