The cardiothoracic surgeon – played by Belinda Owusu – was last seen on our screens earlier this year after the actress took maternity leave.
After finding out that the father of her own baby, Cameron Dunn was an evil murderer, she took some time off work in March.
After nine months away, Nicky returned to Holby City last night…

Ollie – played by James Anderson – worked at hospital between 2009 and 2018 as a registrar.
He was involved in a number of hard hitting storylines, but his most heartbreaking was when he was shot by Henrik Hanssen’s son in 2017.
Then in 2018 he decided to leave Holby to recover from his severe injuries.
He recently returned, but after a chat with on Zosia video call, he decided he wanted t be with her and their son Arthur.
Will Jac Naylor be okay?
The consultant cardiothoracic surgeon – played by Rosie Marcel – hasn’t had an easy year.
Back in August she was diangosed with a brain tumour.
Last night her symptoms appeared to be getting worse after she suffered from a bad nose bleed…
Will Eli Ebrahimi and Amelia Anderson ever get their happy ending?
The couple have recetnly had to come to terms wth the loss of heir baby.
Eli, played by Davood Ghadami, told Amelia that they will WILL be able to start a family one day… will he be able to make sure that comes true?

The staff nurse- played by Amy Murphy – decided to let her feelings known towards Louis last night.
But very awkwardly, Louis didn’t say that he loved her back.
