TENSION is brimming in Chester this week as one resident admits he has been lying to his entire family.
To make matters worse, one youngster continues to wreak havoc in Hollyoaks and everybody turns on him.
Honour Chen-Williams welcomes her sister and her husband to the village
1. Honour gets a visit
The Chen-Williams family are walking on eggshells this week.
But while Maxine Minniver (Nikki Sanderson) is worried for her brother Mason, whom she spots speaking to Eric, Honour (Vera Chok) has bigger fish to fry.
The matriarch prepares to welcome her sister Mei Lian in Chester.
However, tensions arise when she makes it clear to her husband Dave (Dominic Power) that she will not be introducing his illegitimate daughter Maxine to her side of the family.
Dave won’t have it and confronts her about her behaviour only to have the tables turned on him when she admits she knows his former wife took out a restraining order against him.
But before he can explain, Honour’s family arrive.
Dave admits he’s been hiding something from his wife
2. Dave reveals a shock secret
The pair are forced to play happy families with Honour brushing Dave off and lying about his profession to Mei Lian in an attempt to make herself look more successful.
Yet Mei Lian sees right through her and calls her out for lying – which prompts Honour to open up about Dave, deeming him to be the biggest liar of all.
A devastated Dave storms off when he overhears his wife talking about how he has let her down often.
In later scenes, Honour finds him at The Loft and he finally tells her what truly happened with his ex-wife.
While Honour tries to process Dave’s shocking announcement, her brother-in-law Meng Chye reassures Dave, telling him it’s clear he would do anything for Honour.
But will it be enough to save his marriage?
Is Darren right to be worried about Beau and Nancy?
3. Darren gets jealous
Elsewhere in Chester, Darren Osborne (Ashley Taylor Dawson) is growing increasingly jealous of how much time his wife Nancy (Jessica Fox) is spending in the company of newcomer Beau.
Actor Jon-Paul Alexander Bell recently joined the line-up as the charming character.
When a party kicks off at The Dog, Darren watches on as Beau dances with the crowd.
What will he do?
Will Mason ever get his act back together?
4. Mason in vile sex plot
Honour’s niece Shing Lin is excited to see her extended family, but when she hears about a party happening that same night, she wants in.
She turns to her cousin Mason Chen-Williams (Frank Kauer), promising him that she’ll be his wing woman if she can attend the party.
But things don’t go as planned and even go from bad to worse for Mason when Leah Barnes (Elá-May Melek Demircan) calls him a virgin.
A frustrated Mason finds comfort in the Men’s First chat and later rings his sister Serena to help.
Before she can pick up, however, Leah drunkenly collapses on the bed, not noticing him.
Mason gets revenge by taking pictures of her and uploading them to the Men’s First chat.
Leah set her sights on DeMarcus
5. Leah is heartbroken
Leah is in for a difficult week as there’s also some major heartbreak ahead for her.
DeMarcus Westwood (Tomi Ade) asks for her, Charlie Dean and Ella Richardson’s help in raising money for Vicky Grant (Anya Lawrence) so she can see her mother for Christmas.
Leah, who has been trying to let DeMarcus know she harbours feelings for him, gives over some cash after selling her late mother’s jewellery in a bid to impress him.
But she makes a devastating discovery soon after…
Will Vicky really leave Hollyoaks?
6. Vicky plans her exit
Speaking of Vicky, the teenager talks to the social worker about
going to see her mum for Christmas.
There’s one issue – she still needs to talk about it with Scott Drinkwell (Ross Adams).
She soon comes clean and tells him about spending Christmas away.
But she also lies, claiming she’ll be back on Boxing Day.
Christmas comes in Scott’s household and he dresses up as an elf to celebrate the day early with Vicky before she leaves.
However, when Scott presents her with tickets to a boxing day panto,
she has some shocking news.
How will he react?
Warren’s health is on the line
7. Warren is rushed to hospital
Warren Fox (Jamie Lomas) is still preoccupied and in need of a new liver.
The test results are in to see if his son Joel Dexter is a match for the surgery this week.
Later on, Norma Crow (Glynis Barber) tells Grace Black (Tamara Wall) and Warren she has an important counterfeit
money deal tomorrow.
But instead of trusting her long-lost son, she wants Grace to manage as Warren is in no fit state.
It’s clear Warren plans on getting involved in later scenes, after Norma gives Grace the contact she’ll need.
Warren asks Grace if she fancies getting in on his
plan to attack Angus and take the counterfeit money for free and she’s in.
When Angus arrives, Warren reviews the fake money and things quickly turn sour when he needs to be rushed to hospital.
As Warren lies unconscious in a hospital bed, Norma breaks down as she apologises to him for letting him down.
Will he make it?
