1. A horrifying flash-forward
One character will be ending the week on a hospital bed, with their life on the line.
And Channel 4 viewers will be getting a blood-curdling glimpse of the attack and the possible culprit.
Hollyoaks begins with a horrifying flashforward of a figure dumping a bloodstained hoodie in a bin.
But who could it be and who does the blood belong to?

Joseph and DeMarcus’ feud takes a nasty turn
2. DeMarcus takes things too far
DeMarcus Westwood (played by Tomi Ade) has faced Joseph Holmes’ (Olly Rhodes) constant bullying in recent weeks and the feuding will be coming to a head.
Desperate to feel safe, DeMarcus resorts to some troubling behaviour when Joseph’s girlfriend Vicky Grant (Anya Lawrence) tells him and Charlie Dean (Charlie Behan) that Joseph will attend the end of school party.
A defiant DeMarcus tells them he’s ready to face his foe – and Charlie is shocked to find out DeMarcus has armed himself with a knife.
Fearful for him, Charlie turns to police officer Saul Reeves (Chris Charles) about his friend carrying a knife, which leads the latter to go to DeMarcus’ father Felix (former EastEnders star Richard Blackwood).
Saul suggests to Felix that he joins the police shadowing scheme while DeMarcus packs a knife into his bag.

3. Olivia is exposed
After a brick was thrown into their garden, the McQueens are convinced Olivia Bradshaw (Emily Burnett) is to blame for their turmoil.
Olivia denies being behind but after going through her room, her past blackmail is revealed to all.
In recent scenes, the English teacher even tried to blackmail Sally St. Claire (Annie Wallace) for a higher position at Hollyoaks High.
This leaves Prince McQueen (Malique Thompson-Dwyer) in a tricky position as he’s forced to make a decision about his future with Olivia.
What will he choose to do?
Saul Reeves’ life is at risk
4. Saul gets attacked
Finding himself between warring teens Joseph and DeMarcus becomes dangerous for Saul Reeves.
But he first encounters some minor confusion in his relationship with Grace Black (Tamara Wall).
She’s first concerned that he’s having doubts about their romance and tries to spice things up.
Little does Grace know Saul is actually planning to propose.
Sadly, Saul’s future plans for him and Grace are put on hold when he loses the engagement ring he was planning to give her.
And when a confrontation in the park leads to dangerous consequences, Saul is left in a terrible condition.
Later, the villagers are shocked to find out PC Saul Reeves has been stabbed.
With Saul on a hospital bed, Grace soon stumbles upon a video of Saul confronting DeMarcus, armed with a knife.
Is all really as it seems?

Sid makes an important decision this week
5. Sid questions his future
Elsewhere, Sid Sumner (Billy Price) made some serious plans for his future by joining the police shadowing scheme.
This led him to shadow Saul for his first day.
But when he gets wind that the police constable is in hospital after being attacked by an armed individual, Sid is shocked.
He begins to question his future within the police.
Will it be enough to make him quit?
Can Vicky stop Joseph from behaving dangerously?
6. Vicky has doubts about Joseph
With Joseph relentlessly bullying DeMarcus, Vicky Grant is struggling to find something to look forward to.
She opens up about her desire to go to prom and her foster father Scott Drinkwell (Ross Adams) takes matters into his own hands to make something special for her.
Soon enough, Vicky has had it and makes a decision about the future of her relationship with Joseph.
But he catches her off-guard with a surprise which could change everything – unless she realises where it’s from.
Mason tries to get Ella’s attention
7. Mason gets rejected
There’s some love drama ahead for Mason Chen-Williams (Frank Kauer) this week when he gears up to ask Ella Richardson out.
But with Charlie Dean teasing him, he could be convinced into staying put instead of making a move.
In later scenes, Mason’s chances seem to be dashed when Lizzie tries to help him turn to social media to highlight his magician skills, which uncle Ethan as his assistant.
Mason is crushed and angry when he realises one of his own tactics backfired on him and Ella ends up swooning over the wrong guy.
