Seven massive EastEnders spoilers as Linda Carter is forced to leave the Square

AFTER years of struggling with an alcohol addiction, Linda Carter FINALLY admits she needs help.

Mick flies to the rescue – but Janine is watching closely. Here’s what you need to know on all the upcoming EastEnders drama.

Linda FINALLY recognises she needs help for her alcoholism

Mick decides to give her some support

1. Mick grows closer to Linda

The love triangle is still very much alive in Walford.

Coming up, Mick Carter (portrayed by Danny Dyer) shows soon-to-be former wife Linda (Kellie Bright) some support in her alcoholism struggle.

Former Vic landlady has been thrown back into her addiction after seeing Mick choose Janine Butcher (Charlie Brooks) over her.

Her downward spiral has had terrible consequences on her stay in Sharon Watts’ home.

This week, Mick takes actions and tries to convince Martin Fowler and Zack Hudson to let Linda move back in.

He promises to try and make her seek professional help for her reliance on the bottle.

While out on a walk, Linda is fuming as she realises Mick is trying to get her to an addiction meeting.

He opens up about his own troubles and how his traumatic past with Katy Lewis is impacting him.

Linda’s anger subsides and makes way for an emotional wake-up call – she finally admits she needs help.

Mick remains determined to help her and decides to attend meetings with Linda to support her.

Later on, Linda is pleased when her daughter Nancy invites her to a meeting at their new business and she asks Mick to come too.

Mick initially declines but backtracks to celebrate Linda getting the space for a reduced price.

As Linda and Mick enjoy some more time together at Walford East, Linda professes her love for him.

How will he react?

Janine has plans to get rid of her rival

2. Janine forces Linda out of Walford

But, more importantly, what will Janine do when she finds out about Mick and Linda’s lingering chemistry?

Rattled but more than determined to keep her man, the character puts her talent for scheming to good use as she hatches yet another plan to push her rival away.

She’s even willing to boot her out of Albert Square herself.

Firstly, while Mick turns his attention to Linda for a walk, Janine is put out and Shirley makes matters worse by reminding her the childhood sweethearts will always have something.

Janine’s paranoia grows when Mick tells her he’ll be attending meetings with Linda as a form of support amid her booze battle.

More residents get involve and Nancy fails to reassure Janine by saying she has left both her parents alone, while Sonia Fowler gives her a reality check about her priorities.

Feeling threatened by Linda’s presence in Walford, Janine listens to nothing and hatches a plan to get rid of her rival once and for all – she offers her £25k to leave the Square and never look back.

Surprisingly, Linda agrees but there’s a catch as she asks Janine for double the money.

She then takes great pleasure in playing on Janine’s insecurity and plants more doubts in her mind about her future with Mick.

Janine takes her plan to a whole new level.

The villain promises she has the money but tells Linda that if she wants it all, she will have to leave the following day – the latter agrees again.

She says a subtle goodbye to her family – until Zack Hudson clocks on to what is happening.

Will Linda really leave Square again?

Callum can’t forgive Ben’s betrayal this week

3. Callum dumps Ben

Meanwhile, Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) faces another hurdle in his marriage with Callum Highway (Tony Clay), despite having celebrated their first anniversary.

While their rough patch has not been easy, things get to an all-time low when Callum catches his other half kissing newcomer Lewis Butler (Aidan O’Callaghan).

With his trust broken, Callum fails to forgive and forget all about Ben’s actions – which prompts him to end their romance.

Soon enough, Lewis gets wind of their separation and gets involved.

Is this really the end of the road?

Peter is recovering from his attack

4. Peter struggles to cope

However, Ben may have some trouble coming to him as his victim Peter Beale (Dayle Hudson) is finding it hard to deal with the trauma his attack left him with.

The Beale’s Plaice manager is on tenterhooks this week and Rocky Cotton (Brian Conley) is unfortunately left picking up the pieces.

Peter is spooked when he hears someone entering the house.

As he gets ready to face the worst, Peter finds a frying pan and uses it as a weapon by whacking the intruder over the head.

He soon realises his mistake as Rocky Cotton is revealed to be the visitor.

Thankfully for Peter, the former con man isn’t hurt and shows understanding.

Seeing how much the youngster is struggling, he hatches a plan to help him.

Rocky sets out to find Peter’s attacker, making flyers offering a cash reward to find him.

Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) gets wind of what Rocky is trying to do and is spooked enough to warn her son.

Jean has been sectioned following her manic episode

5. Jean refuses help

Over at the Slaters’, Stacey (Lacey Turner) feels like her hands are tied while her mother Jean (Gillian Wright) remains in hospital.

This week, Stacey faces her daughter Lily’s (Lillia Turner) wrath as the youngster is convinced she’s to blame for Jean being sectioned.

During another visit in hospital, Stacey’s concerns for her mother’s well-being grow and matters only get worse after the owner of Stacey’s Baps witnesses an incident involving the cleaner and another patient.

The worry is too heavy to handle for Stacey as she’s already witnessed a patient tormenting Jean – she therefore decides to bring her home.

But her decision is a cause for concern for Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) and Stacey’s wife Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) and both share their worries.

Later on, Stacey is hopeful Harvey Monroe (Ross Boatman) will pay Jean a visit but the cabbie – to whom Jean was engaged to – quickly makes an excuse.

Back at home, Jean is failing to interact with the children and refuses to eat and Stacey finally realises the challenge ahead of her.

How will she cope?

Stuart makes a heart-breaking admission to Dotty

6. Dotty discovers Stuart’s secret

Walford tough man Stuart (portrayed by Ricky Champ) took a long time before accepting help for his cancer.

But, soon enough, he was no longer able to keep everything at bay and has decided to get treatment for his illness.

Amid his cancer battle, he became a father after Bernie Taylor (Clair Norris) gave birth to a baby boy named Roland.

Bernie kept to her surrogacy agreement with Stuart and his wife Rainie Cross (Tanya Franks), but fatherhood doesn’t seem to be his calling.

Coming up, Stuart has his first chemotherapy appointment and on his way home, he bumps into Dotty Cotton (played by Milly Zero).

The club manager immediately assumes Stuart must be high, due to his previous issues with addiction, and threatens to tell Bernie.

Feeling the pressure, Stuart can’t contain the truth any longer and comes clean – he doesn’t feel a connection with Roland.

How will Dotty react?

Will she tell Bernie?

Residents pull a prank on Jay Brown

7. Jay gets tricked

Jay Brown (Jamie Borthwick) has taken a backseat from all the tension in Albert Square.

This week, however, he finds himself becoming the butt of a practical joke.

Frankie Lewis is on a mission to create her photography portfolio and Rocky suggests that she captures the real East End.

She photographs Rocky posing by the car lot but is disappointed about how the pictures have come out.

After capturing her father Mick in The Vic, Rocky and Mitch convince Jay to take his place.

But when Frankie leaves, they set him up before teasing Jay ahead of his big photoshoot.

Could this get him into trouble with Honey?
