OBSERVANT Sex And The City fans noticed an actor they recognised in the reboot, Just Like That.
Actor William Abadie turned up in the reboot as a club owner named Zed who Seema (Sarita Choudhry) meets in Brooklyn.
But it’s not the first time William has turned on the New York based series about a group of professional women.
In fact the actor appeared in original Sex and the City series but as an entirely different character.
A fan shared his original scene on TikTok where he appeared as Tony the Prada salesman.
William appeared in the sixth season in the episode called, Lights, Camera, Relationship where Carrie Bradshaw takes then boyfriend into the Jack Berger the Prada store for his first time.
“Tony, this is my new boyfriend, Jack Berger,” Carrie tells the Prada salesman.
He then turns up again later in the episode when Carrie tries to set him up with her friend Charlotte.
“I may have found you the impossible dreamboat: Straight, single and works for Prada,” she tells her newly single friend.
The episode was iconic because Jack was about to famously break-up with Carrie using a post-it note.
The TikToker shared William’s original scene saying it “bothered me all along” trying figure out where she’d seen him before.
One fan replied to the video: “This bugged me so much. I was waiting for Carrie to be like hey how have you been? But she legit just walked past him.”
Another added: “Knew from the moment he appeared.”
And a third wrote: “No way!!!!!!! He didn’t look familiar at all. ‘The only thing sadder is Jack Berger not having Prada’.”
Others commenters also said they remembered will from his roles as Roman on Gossip Girl and Antoine Lamber in Emily in Paris.
In Netflix’s Emily in Paris he plays the perfumer with no connection to the restaurant busines who made some shady moves in season one and then suspiciously decided to invest in Gabriel’s restaurant so he can stay in Paris.
