SEX Education star Asa Butterfield looks unrecognisable in a first look at the new film Flux Gourmet.
The actor – who plays Otis Milburn in the popular Netflix series – has landed a new role in the upcoming feature film directed by Peter Strickland.
Asa, 24, plays Billy Rubin in the new blockbuster that follows the story of writer called Stones who is hired to perform at the Sonic Catering Institute to cover a culinary collective.
When Stones starts suffering with stomach problems, the institute think that they should incorporate it into their performances.
As well as his own health issues, Stones and the rest of the artists within the institute have to deal with vicious comments from other failing artists.
Asa will be joined by Gwendoline Christie, who plays head of the institute Jan Stevens.
Ariane Labed, Fatma Mohamed, Makis Papadimitriou, Leo Bill and Richard Bremmer are also part of the cast.
This is Asa’s first film role since he began playing Otis in Sex Education.
The star took on the role of the schoolboy back in 2019 and has starred in all three series.
Asa shot to fame in 2008 when he played Bruno in The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas.
He later went on to star in Nanny McPhee and the Big Bang, Ender’s Game and X+Y.
The child star has also had roles in TV shows such as After Thomas, Ashes to Ashes and Merlin.
Last year Asa and Sex Education co-star Mimi Keene set tongues wagging when fans thought that they were dating in real life.
Super fan @espinacaconpure came up with an intriguing theory that the pair have been more lucky in love away from the cameras.
They noticed the two were both been pictured in fields strewn with buttercups on their respective Instagram accounts.
Sex Education was recently confirmed for season 4 just a week after the latest episodes dropped.
