After Tosh narrowly escaped death in a previous explosion, the duo have been determined to crack the case and bring the culprit to justice.
However, fans are fearing for Jimmy’s life in the show after actor Douglas Henshall confirmed he would be leaving the show after this series concludes.
While viewers are gutted at the star’s imminent departure, Douglas has said he would explain his reasons for leaving the drama at a later time.

During the fifth episode, viewers saw Jimmy arrive to fisherman Ally’s (Anthony Strachan) boat with police officers, convinced he had explosives on board.
“Where’s the explosives,” Jimmy demanded as the fisherman denied any knowledge.
He then snapped: “Don’t you f***ing lie to me, is there a bomb?”
Viewers then saw a hooded figure in a dark garage assembling a bomb which sparked concern for them.
“I’m wondered about Perez… please don’t hurt him! Maybe just let him quit and live a peaceful life now… just don’t kill him,” said one fan.
Another tweeted: “I have an awful feeling that Jimmy might not make it to the end of the last episode.”
“Next week is it for Jimmy Perez,” said a third.
A fourth said: “The killer is Lloyd’s wife! But now I’m getting concerned as to how Jimmy leaves.”
Shetland continues this Wednesday at 9pm on BBC One and is available to stream on iPlayer.
