SHIRLEY Ballas has taken a swipe at Strictly as she backed fans slamming the show’s standards.
The dance veteran appeared to agree with a fan who accused Stricty of not being up to scratch.

Shirley, 62, made the gaffe after sharing a video of her son Mark Ballas performing on Dancing With the Stars with TikTok legend Charli D’Amelio.
She said: “I’ve seen some foxtrots in my time but this was exceptional. From the frame all the way down to the footwork. Musicality, creativity and chemistry all rolled into one.
“The production and setting was absolutely brilliant. 10s across the board. 50/50. Well done I’m so soooo proud of you both. Onwards and upwards.”
The proud mum continued her gushing tribute: “@markballas you are making us all so proud here in the UK. Along with so many others I just love seeing you on the floor.
“@charlidamelio you are continuing to inspire millions of people with your dancing and are doing marvellously each week. Love you both Xx”
Shirley then turned her attention to the comments pouring in beneath her post.
And she liked one from a fan that said: “I wish Mark could come to the UK and do Strictly, his choreography is fantastic!
“No props that take up most of the routine, just a plain and gorgeous foxtrot like they used to do in the beginning of Strictly. Perfect!”
Viewers have raged on social media this series as they accused the championship dancer of bias and calling for her to go.
Fans have claimed Shirley prefers male celebrity dancers to women on the hit BBC1 show.
They went into meltdown earlier this month when she backed radio presenter Richie Anderson to remain on the series over singer Fleur East.
It was claimed she was unable to “celebrate the young, female celebrities” and “felt threatened by” and was “overly critical” of attractive women dancers.
One viewer fumed on Twitter: “Sexist Shirley would rather save men darting around in animal costumes than the technically-skilled and beautiful dancer Fleur?”
Teacher Lizzie Man Neon blasted: “Shirley Ballas should be removed from the panel. She’s setting a bad example. Her views are outdated and sexist. Please let this be her last year, or preferably week.”
