Gunmen demand drugs from Damon

The restaurateur played by Ben Price is aware Damon Hay (Ciarán Griffiths) has been smuggling drugs out of the Bistro.

Tired of his schemes, he decided to tell his other half Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) the truth as his son Sam grew dangerously close with Damon.

However, Nick is unable to free himself or his loved ones from Damon’s grasp and matters go from bad to worse next week on ITV.

Coming up, Nick calls Damon and confirms that a recent drug delivery has been completed.

He then gets a reminder how dangerous a life of crime really is when two masked men enter the Bistro, pointing a gun at Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott).

Both demand that he hand over the drugs, leaving Ryan terrified, while a resourceful Sam Blakeman (Jude Riordan) dives under a table and calls his father Nick.

While Ryan and Sam face the gunmen, the businessman is outside alongside Damon and Leanne but the trio race towards the restaurant after hearing a gunshot.

Who survives the shooting horror?

Having been alerted to the gunshot, the police arrive at the Bistro… with a handler soon in tow.

A sniffer dog walks around the premises – is the game up?

Damon first rocked up the cobbles and tried to make peace with his estranged son Jacob (Jack James Ryan).

The lad was embroiled in his uncle Harvey Gaskell’s dastardly deeds but was trying to clean up his act.

Sadly for him, his father Damon turned his plans on their head and Jacob soon had to leave Weatherfield behind.

Nick, on the other hand, knows all about Harvey Gaskell, Damon’s brother, due to the hell his family was put through by the thug.

Harvey not only pushed Jacob to groom Leanne’s adoptive son Simon into working for him, he also murdered Sam’s mother Natasha.

The criminal was thrown in prison but his brother Damon, although less rough around the edges, is said to be more dangerous than him.

Will Nick be able to take him down?

Coronation Street airs every Monday, Wednesday and Friday on ITV.
