Simon explains why he’s thankful auditions aren’t live when it comes to comedians

The launch of its 15th series airs tomorrow and will be followed by a surprise episode just 24 hours later.

Simon admitted he was thankful auditions weren’t live when it comes to comedians as the show can edit out any offensive content.

The 62-year-old exclusively told The Celeb Report: “There’s always moments of controversy, especially with some of the comedians, you’re like ‘woah’.

“Luckily those aren’t live. We have the edit so we really consider carefully what will be shown and what won’t be shown.

“We have a lot to choose from. No one will be ‘doing a Will Smith’ and slapping someone on stage. We haven’t had that yet.”

One contestant viewers will see on Saturday night’s show is Titan the Robot.

He sings and performs a comedy routine which leaves the audience and judges in hysterics.

Titan mocks Simon in the style of David Attenborough.

Titan said: “A majestic Simon Cowell, this creature lives an honest and basic existence and can often been seen jet skiing off the coast of Barbados with one simple though running through its mind.”

Then the song “I’m Too Sexy” by Right Said Fred plays.

Simon appeared to be enjoying the roast as he smiled and danced along.

Meanwhile, the other judges laughed and applauded the robot’s performance.

Britain’s Got Talent airs Saturday at 8pm and Sunday at 7:35pm on ITV.
