In the clip, Simon referred to the pandemic and said: “The overriding tone is you got through it. And now doing the show means more than anything else.”

Simon can be seen cheering on the “amazing” and “inspiring” performance of a contestant.

In the preview, the TV personality appeared to be slimmer with his shirt unbuttoned.

Recently, the music mogul’s former girlfriend, Sinitta, 52, teased a triumphant comeback.

During Good Morning Britain, Sinnatta said: “I’m not sure if it’s going to be this year or next year, but he’s working on a revamped X Factor which I’m very excited about.”

On May 14th, Simon was spotted on a bike ride with his girlfriend Lauren Silverman, 43.

Due to his weight loss, the BGT star looked trim while showing off his toned legs in a pair of white shorts.

The X Factor judge fell off of his electric bike back in August.

Simon needed about six hours of surgery because his spine had been shattered in three places.

The Celeb Report revealed Simon’s condition had gotten so bad that he was forced to pull out of filming for Britain’s Got Talent last year.

Dancer Ashley Banjo, 32, stood in for Simon instead on the panel of judges.

Since the accident, Simon embarked on a health and fitness regime.

He switched from eating sausage rolls and hamburgers to a plant-based diet.

However, in an interview with The Celeb Report last year, Simon admitted back in January that he still ate white meat, such as chicken and turkey.

Simon teased an “amazing” performance in the preview

Speaking about the accident, Simon said: “I’ve never been in this situation in my life where you literally can’t move.

“The pain was off the charts. But you’ve got to stay positive.

“I made a promise to myself I’d be fitter than I was before I had the accident. Sure enough, that’s what happened.”
