SISTER Wives star Christine Brown relished her “longest playtime” with adorable granddaughter Avalon amid continual strife with ex Kody.
The proud grand-mom, 49, took to her Instagram page to document her heartwarming afternoon with daughter Mykelti’s tot, aged nine months.
Mykelti welcomed Avalon with husband Antonio Padron in April 2021.
Sister Wives favorite Christine has been hands-on from the off – “glowing” in her nanny role following her split with Kody in November.
She uploaded a series of images showing the tot, dressed in a cute fox-print baby grow, playing with a personalized Fantasy Board toy complete with pastel-coloured cogs, buttons and beads.
After spending time hugely distracted by the sensory play item Christine, who went make-up free in an orange tracksuit, was seen cuddling Avalon as she played with a series of wooden letters.
The TV star excitedly gushed in her caption: “Possibly the longest playtime I’ve had with Avalon!
“This @fantasy_board_toy is WONDERFUL. You can personalize yours with colors, size and name!”
Kody and now ex Christine spiritually married in 1994.
In addition to daughters Mykelti and Truely, the couple also share children Aspyn, Ysabel, Paedon and Gwendlyn.
BITTER SPLIT
Christine’s happiness comes amid reports her ex Kody, 52, has become “become more angry and bitter” since their split, according to Us Weekly.
A source close to the Sister Wives star claimed that he left his partner “on her own to make peace with the separation.”
The insider claimed that the decision to separate was made between “her and God, not her and Kody.”
The source added that the TLC star “wouldn’t give Christine — or any of his other wives for that matter — the courtesy of going along with [a formal ceremony] since he feels betrayed.”
Christine’s ex is expected not to “go through with a ‘spiritual divorce’” with her.
Kody is married to Janelle, 52, Robyn, 43, and is also divorced from Meri, 50.
After months of split rumors, Christine confirmed that she and Kody had ended their marriage back in November 2021.
She released a statement on social media and said: “After more than 25 years together, Kody and I have grown apart and I have made the difficult decision to leave.”
‘MURDERED OUR INTIMACY’
Recently, Kody had spoken up about Christine’s supposed “betrayal” in an episode.
During a confessional, Kody said he was unsure Christine’s split was “a phase or if this is just awakening.”
He claimed that she had “been telling wives and adult children that she wants to leave me for years.”
Kody argued that she had allegedly “murdered our intimacy with betrayal.”
THE BACKLASH
Upset fans took to Twitter and slammed Kody’s words against him.
Several followers picked Christine’s side and argued that he was “playing the victim.”
One Reddit user mocked him and wrote: “Yes when she discusses her issues with others it’s a ‘betrayal’.”
Another commented: “He accuses Christine of playing games. He completely seems to believe that she is being dramatic or unreasonable.”
Yet, on the flip side following the breakup, Christine has shared that she’s lost weight and “embraced change.”
