SISTER Wives star Meri Brown revealed she entered the new year feeling “happy” and “loving life,” despite her family recently going through many changes.
The positive message to fans came after the shocking news that her husband Kody Brown and fellow sister wife Christine, 49, had split.
To celebrate leaving 2021 behind, Meri shared a video to her Instagram of her mood for the new year.
She lip-synched to the quote: “You know, you can watch me, mock me, block me, or join me. But what you cannot do is stop me.”
Meri added that this sentiment went for both her personal life and her professional life.
In the caption, the 50-year-old got a bit more specific about how strong and uplifted she’s been feeling lateIy.
“I have life goals, I have business goals. I love my life. I’m happy,” she started off.
The Sister Wives star continued: “I’m gonna keep on doing me, because THAT’S what makes me happy.
“Being me, my authentic self, living by my set of values and standards, following my dreams and passions, living my fulfilled life, y’all that’s what it’s about!
“I challenge you to do the same this year!”
She later went on to share another message for the new year, posting a quote that read: “2022 I’m ready. Out with the old, in with the new.”
In November, after much speculation, Meri’s fellow sister wife Christine finally revealed she’d left Kody following several tense months.
She has been open with fans following the split, admitting she has “good and bad” days.
She noted, however, that she feels “like a much better person” after calling it quits.
Christine sold her home in Arizona, moving into a $1.1M Utah duplex near her daughter.
She mentioned she felt “like a much better person” because the divorce had been a “long time coming.”
Christine said she was living in a “whole new world” and hoped she could remain “friends” with her ex for the sake of their youngest child together, Truely, 11.
She continued: “Because we’ve been still real high communicating with each other and stuff. I mean good and bad days, don’t get me wrong, it’s been blah.”
“But we have a life still together after this because we have kids to raise.”
Back in October, The Celeb Report exclusively reported that the Sister Wives star had moved into a $1.1m Utah duplex after selling the Arizona home she once shared with her ex-husband for $700,000.
On Christine’s mortgage deed for her Arizona home, she listed herself as a “single woman.”
Christine is not legally married to Kody, as she was his third spiritual wife, which made her “single” on the court documents.
Kody was legally married to first wife Meri before he divorced her to marry fourth wife Robyn, 43, to be able to adopt her children from a previous marriage.
He is also spiritually married to Janelle, 52.
