Investigation and Probe

Accountants liquidating Adam Thomas' failed restaurant, The Spinn, in Greater Manchester, are investigating the circumstances surrounding its collapse. The failed firm, which owed £100,000 to the tax office, closed in 2022 after three years of trading. Creditors are unlikely to receive any payments from the liquidation.

Director's Conduct Report

A report on the trading firm Gatley Bar & Grill revealed that the liquidators have corresponded with the director, ex-director, and creditors. They have submitted a director's conduct report to the Department for Business and Trade, as required by legislation. The liquidators are exploring potential asset recoveries for the benefit of creditors.

Adam Thomas' Statement

Adam Thomas, known for his roles in Emmerdale and Waterloo Road, expressed his disappointment over the closure of The Spinn. He mentioned that the experience taught him valuable lessons and that he is now focusing on new ventures like The Spinn off bar and Oh My Glaze burger sauce company. Following the closure, Adam and his family moved into a new house.

Adam thanked his fans for their support during the house-buying journey and reflected on the past year as the craziest of his life. Despite the challenges, he expressed gratitude for the opportunities and vowed to make the most of them.
