SPRINGWATCH viewers all had the same complaint as the new series of the BBC nature show kicked off.
The eighteenth season of the critically-acclaimed programme, hosted by Chris Packham and Michaela Strachan, aired on Monday night – but some weren’t happy about one fine detail.
However, viewers were soon left scratching their heads about the timing of the new episodes.
The new series is set to air on BBC Two from Monday to Thursday for the next three weeks, bringing watchers some of the best of British springtime wildlife.
During yesterday evening’s episode, Chris and Michaela were at Wild Ken Hill in Norfolk.
But it didn’t take long for viewers to flood Twitter with their views on the popular programme.

While most were delighted to see it back on their screens, others were left wondering why Springwatch is being aired near the start of summer.
Alongside an array of confused faced emojis, one person questioned: “Why is Springwatch starting just as we’re approaching the end of spring?”
Echoing their comments, someone else said: “Just as we’re about to head into summer, along comes Springwatch. Make it make sense.”
That being said, most social media users were just pleased to see the wildlife programme back on their televisions.
“Hooray, Springwatch is back,” said one, before adding: “Brilliant to see Chris Packham back on my screen. What a man.”
Ahead of the new series, The Celeb Report sat down with long-standing presenter Chris who insisted that he “couldn’t care less” if viewers hate his outfits on the show.
Over the years, Chris and his outfit choices have become a hot topic of discussion – but for all the wrong reasons.
When asked what he makes of it all, he told The Celeb Report and other press that he’s happy to take the “tongue and cheek abuse” about his choice of clothing.
“One of the bits of abuse I get, in a comical way, particularly Michaela, too, is we sometimes get accused of overdressing,” the 61-year-old explained.
“I wanna be able to do my job properly and I can’t do that if my teeth are chattering.”
